I was approached by Emily Moberly, founder of Traveling Stories, about featuring their new Reading is Sexy calendar to raise funds for Traveling Stories.

Traveling Stories is a 501c.3 nonprofit organization which provides books to kids who have none and works to inspire a love for reading everywhere! So far we’ve given books to more than 700 kids, helped set up three international libraries and initiated a weekly Story Telling Tent in San Diego … all because of help from people like you!

I received a copy of this awesome Reading is Sexy calendar in my mailbox Monday. It is tastefully sexy photos of beautiful ladies reading. My husband’s response to flipping through the calendar, “Wow.” Big response from a man of few words.

One of the most exciting things that Traveling Stories does (IMO) is the Story Tent. Every Saturday from 9am to 1pm at the City Heights Farmer’s Market, Traveling Stories has a Story Tent. They provide literacy coaching for kids, many of whom wouldn’t otherwise have access to reading help.
