I haven’t been posting much lately as life has been a little hectic. Yesterday I turned 27. Since I’m pregnant and my husband had to spend most of the day out in the desert training soldiers, it wasn’t a big to-do. We had pizza for dinner, then ice cream cake later that night. UPS still has my presents (much to John’s chagrin).

We adopted a kitten last fall and since she didn’t have an official birthday, she now shares mine. She turned the big ONE. She also got a little taste of ice cream cake (much to the dog’s chagrin).

I’m still working my way through all the pregnancy books. I’ve moved on to polishing off this one, which I’ve enjoyed much more than What to Expect When You’re Expecting. I’ve also been spending a lot of time with Stitch ‘n Bitch. I learned to knit by reading it a couple years ago and still reference it whenever I knit anything (which really isn’t much). I make scarves and so far, that has been it. Take a look at a knitting pattern and you’ll see that they are apparently all written in a secret knitting language.

I was recently surveyed by someone from Glyde. The site has really come a long way since I first joined. You don’t need an invite to sign up anymore. I highly recommend the site. My selling there has gone slowly, but I’m sticking with it because they sent you pre-paid mailers. No hassle like there is with selling on eBay on Amazon. It’s also a GREAT place to buy. Their prices are fantastic and you get your items super fast.

That’s about it for news around these parts. I’m off to enjoy having the car for a couple of hours (when I say “enjoy” I mean, going to get a glucose test done).
